When does your scanner need a service / maintenance?
Most of the scanners will give you an on-screen notification, telling you that a service is needed.
What is done in a service?
The document scanner is cleaned and tested. If needed the scanner pads & rollers will be replaced. This also forms part of the scanner consumables and is not included in the swop out warranty or maintenance contract, if not specified otherwise.
